Wonderful

The location is convenient and the apartment is spacious. We enjoy the Japanese' style apartment.

If there is one or two normal chair in the tatami living room, it would be better for eldery people as they cannot easily sit or stand up from the low chair of the tatami.

Spacious, comfortable and traditional Kyoto house.

The house was very comfortable for my family of 7 with plenty of space. There were two Queen beds and a tatami room for 3 futons. We used the washing machine/dryer - soap and toiletries were provided. The supermarket and convenience stores were close by and it was a short walk to many good restaurants, the train station and bus stop. It was close to the beautiful Sanjusangendo temple. We highly recommend Ganshi a tonaktsu restaurant a few doors away. The staff in the main office were very helpful and communicated well in English. They stored our baggage until check-in, organised two free taxis to the house and then (by email) booked two taxis for us at checkout to get to the main station.

The futons in the tatami bedroom were more comfortable than the beds and more hanging space in the bathroom for towels would be good for a large family. We had a wonderful stay in this house in Kyoto. Thank you very much.

A reasonable place to stay if not too many people - needs some improvement. Good & interesting area.

The location was good being just one train stop from Kyoto & one in the other direction to a major attraction. The bus stop is just around the corner so great to get around to other places too. There was plenty of room for just two people. The Dragon man is just around the corner. Close to Family Mart & some interesting restaurants.

The banister at the top of the stairs is extremely dangerous & unsafe. It needs attending to before there is an accident. The bedroom with two queen beds is ridiculously difficult to manouvre around. There should be just a large bed & a single so that there is access to the shelves where clothing can be stored. At present it is totally unusable for any storage purposes, especially annoying as there is no wardrobe in either bedroom. We would therefore not recommend this property for any more than four or five people. The check in process is cumbersome & not particularly easy when unfamiliar with the area. The key card required multiple attempts every time before it worked & was very frustrating. The provision of two pods for the coffee machine for a 5 night stay was very pathetic. There was plenty of dust on the rear bars of the downstairs toilet. The only accommodation which was not spotless. The little gardens could do with a refurb to make them look really attractive - it would not take much to do so & they are such an asset to the accommodation.

The washroom is quite nice and the house is Big. Overall is better space for family or group of friends.

There have the extra tax but didn't mention on booking.com, we just know that when we check in. The location is far from the central, but it would be convenience if you drive.
